Dear Delegate,
It is on behalf of the organising committee of the SASA 2012 Congress, that I invite you to come to Cape Town and participate in this show case event.
What better time to visit Cape Town than February? The Cape Doctor has gone and taken with it the droves of tourists; leaving behind beautiful days, balmy evenings, the stunning city, magnificent beaches, world class wines, and the SASA 2012 National Congress! The congress will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, a stone's throw away from the Waterfront with all its vibrant entertainment…who can resist this invitation to join us?
A stimulating academic programme awaits you. In keeping with 2012 being an Olympic year, the theme of our congress is “Performance in Anaesthesia”. This theme will be addressed by a stellar faculty of lecturers, led by our official SASA guest, Professor Warwick Ngan Kee. Our programme aims to help improve performance in anaesthesia across the board.
No SASA congress is complete without a scintillating social programme, and 2012 is no exception. Come and compete in the Old Snoozers Golf Trophy or let your hair down at our Gala dinner. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
The 2012 SASA congress organising committee is committed to social responsibility. This year, the Homestead, an NGO helping to rehabilitate street children, will benefit from various fund raising events occurring throughout the congress and refresher course.
Come and join us in February 2012 for 5 days of cutting-edge academia and fun and get involved in “paying it forward” with our social responsibility drive in the most beautiful city in the world. I look forward to welcoming you to Cape Town and the SASA 2012 Congress.
